Omobono is part of The Marketing Practice group. With over 400 B2B specialists across the US, UK, Europe and Australia, we are the leading independent global B2B tech agency. We combine the best skills in B2B, through the funnel, to create more sales today and a better sales environment long term.

About the role:

Omobono need an experienced Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor to join our in-house motion team. You’ll be creating a variety of videos ranging from big brand anthem reels, social content, to explainer videos. We’re looking for someone who is a keen visual storyteller, who can elevate ideas and turn them into videos with real stopping-power. Being responsible for the design and production of video content for a variety of different projects and clients, you will be pushing the boundaries and elevating the quality of our content – whilst also appreciating the discipline that working for big brands requires. We need an animator and motion graphics expert in one, a superstar who also has a strong design background.

You need to bring your own distinct approach but are equally comfortable when working within established styles and treatments. Being a visual storyteller, you need to be able to craft powerful and engaging short films, bringing our clients campaigns to life through visual storytelling, graphic animations and editing. We need someone who has a keen eye for continuity and selection of footage.

We need people who are ambitious and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, equally comfortable producing your own work and bringing to fruition other people’s ideas - collaborating with the wider creative team to put together the best, most compelling story.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within a small team to take on all aspects of video production; from generating and contributing to ideas, producing treatments, storyboards, to motion graphics and animation for our clients.

Essential Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in a digital creative environment (minimum 3 years)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, with supporting skills for asset/footage preparation required in Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition etc.
  • Comfortable working with animation, filmed footage and stock footage.
  • Collaborative – working with script writers and creatives to input into video concepts.
  • Client-facing – presenting to and working with clients directly, explaining the opportunities and challenges, advising on best practices.
  • Knowledge of fundamental design principles (layout, typography etc.) with good technical understanding of all video-based media.
  • Visualizing and designing ideas that are relevant for video/digital media.
  • Good organisation and communication skills, with the ability to self-manage time.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and be involved in all aspects of a project from concept to completion across multiple accounts.
  • Natural creative instinct and critical eye with attention to detail.
  • Creative and innovative, but commercially minded.

About Us:
