Case Study: taking an industry event from face-to-face to online in days

Since summer 2019, we had been working with a leading global tech firm to deliver experiences and branding for their annual key event. Held in Las Vegas, attendance would be in the region of 3,000 people. 

Then COVID-19 hit. 

All face-to-face events were off. We spent the next three weeks re-purposing the work done to date to turn it into content for a virtual event. Video intros & outros for webcasts, branding assets for the UI, re-purposing a live game into a digital experience. It was a scramble for all, but the virtual event proved to be a huge success with over 1,500 procurement professionals attending online to learn how technology could address their needs in this current crisis. 

Despite the last-minute turnaround, our work has created a template for the client to build on for customer events throughout this year. It also proves that by marrying creative thinking to technology, solutions can be found in the most challenging times. Which is much needed right now.
